What I'm most interested in is not how you personally get on in Second Life, but how an ordinary person starting with nothing gets on in Second Life. When bankers give you 5000L$ because you have a popular blog, that makes your blog less interesting to me... no one is going to give *me* 5000L$.

I'm most interested in ways you find of making money without effort. I keep hoping that you'll think of ways that I have not thought of.

I'm not sure how useful actual campsite addresses are. By the time you've announced them, they're flooded. More interesting is for you to tell us the various rates you encounter when looking for campsites ... in my notes to myself on campsites I give not only the stated rate (4L$ / 20 minutes), but I also convert it to an hourly rate for easy comparison. 4/20min = 12/hr.

I think we'd also love to know when/if there's a certain kind of property that you've found is likely to have campsites... "Look for island sims" or "Look for malls." You've probably got hundreds of readers. Don't tell us the location of a place with 4 good dance pads, help us each to find our own campsites.

We're interested in you in particular only as far as we can generalize you to be "someone like us." Does that make sense?

The only thing I'd like to add is that maybe this blog should branch out a bit now. Try including additional information not just camping info.

Obviously when I started the emphasis was on camping but now that I have most of the clothes and av accesories that I need (due to camping) I'd like to know what other fun things there are to do on SL. I can't help but feel that I've only scratched the surface as I really only go to the same old campsites and shops.

Maybe users can post what they do in their spare time. and what they do for fun. I'm sure a lot of people myself included don't know the full extent of the things you can do to entertain yourself on SL.

I think that branching out into banking and investments is good, as is coverage of Ginko - By suffering through the Ginko trouble, JohnLight is like everyone else.

I think for anything to survive it needs to expand, progress and branch out.

I think the blog can work within the remit of making money and still become a useful resource/survival guide in SL.
