I've been away, and then busy over the next days, so I don't have a lot of things to report. The most important thing is that I finally achieve to get 8'000 of the JT Financial High Yield bonds ! Thanks a lot to Reverend Chapman who mentionned in a comment that these bonds can be exchanged on the SL Capital Exchange !
This makes these bonds much better than the term deposit that Ginko issued before they collapsed, because they can be sold at (nearly) anytime. If I feel any risk with JTF, I will sold the bonds.
I also decided to put only two thirds of my JTF deposit in the bonds, to avoid losing too much in case of trouble. So my strategy is now to put my camping savings by JTF on my standard account, to let the bonds generate interests, while still having 10% of my balance safe by APEZ.
The non-human avatar contest with 400L$ to earn is still open, you have until tomorrow 12PM to send your best non-human avatar. I already got some really surprising ones !

Triple Lucky Day in Second Life - We need more Genies
I've been lucky three times today in Second Life. First, I could get a 4L$ / 15 minutes camping spot in Rumpus. Secondly, the region has been restarted. You might think that this is no luck, but it was... I came back as soon as it restarted, and because of a bug, some of the benches were still displayed some amounts earned, with no one on sitting. By sitting I could get that money, so I made 12L$ within seconds. It is the second time I see such issues with camping benches and regions restarts.
But my bigger luck today was to camp beside Genie Demina, as you can see on this snapshot.
Genie is an awsome suntanned blondie with deep blue eyes which I could look at for hours, but moreover she's a true angel. She helped me several time with SL, gave me tons of stuff, and she's very generous with all her friends. Genie is never short of time for others, and is always available. I met her months ago, and I can say she's a person I can rely on, and a trustable good friend.
To be brief, Second Life would be much better if there were more Genies there... Thanks for being You, Genie.

Here we camp again
Since I got my computer back from the maintenance workshop, I restarted camping as much as I can, and I'm reaching daily amounts of about 5o L$ on week days and 100 L$ on week-ends. At this rythm, I will need 35 years to reach the million.
Hopefully, interests and other activities will help to make it shorter ! I can't imagine me still camping in 35 years. I can't even imagine what computers will look like by this time, and the current SL version would probably seem as old as pacman games do today.
There have been some changes in camping since I started this quest. The unlimited campsite are not so frequent, and many include human vs. robots checks. This can be in the form of a question when starting camping, or a warning while camping to which you have to respond, otherwise you get ejected.
Another new thing I found out recently are campchairs that can be used by members of a certain group members only. And obviously one has to pay to join the group ! As you can imagine, I don't exactly like that, especially as the chairs are not paying super rates.
There have been discussions today in the "Free Money from JohnLight" group about a camp master that is not always paying. Some members were there for as long as 23 hours, and got nothing in the end. It is not confirmed yet, and apparently the owner is temporarily short of cash...

Stategy update
Investment activities
As I started to invest on SLCapex, a strategy update is needed. For the time being, and as long as I will consider myself in the learning phase, I won't put any of the camping money at risk. I will only invest the 5000 L$ I got from Arbitrage Wise. To keep them separate, I'll use JaneLight's account for this.
Interests
Given the information published here about JTFinancials, I trust them a bit more than Midas, from which I had no info until them. As a consequence, I moved the 10'000 L$ from Midas to JohnLight0s account by JTFinancials.
I also topped this account with my camping income from last week. The previously defined strategy consisting of taking interests away and put them in APEZ is still valid, and I will use APEZ as kind of a strategic reserve, in case of major and undetected trouble by JTFinancials.
The mini shop
For the time being, Josephina is unfortunately experiencing troubles with the club building which is also hosting the mini shop. I must mention however that she does a great job as holding her famous parties in the garden. For more info on that, check her blog (http://secondlifeclubjosephina.blogspot.com/).
When the building will be fixed, probably today or tomorrow, I will restart vending watches there. I will also place an ATM, and a donation box.
Camping
Last but not least, I will for sure continue to camp and explore SL to find the best camping sites, being supported in this task by the members of "Free Money from JohnLight" group. And remember, I by the end, on of the group members will get the 1'000'000 L$ as a prize !

Here we go again - My new strategy
General guidelines
After days of thinking, I finally decided how to go on. First of all, the goal of this quest remains unchange: "Earn 1'000'000 L$ with no or minimal effort". I hesitated to remove the "no", but I will finally keep it.
Defining minimal however was not so easy. I first tried to define a list of "acceptable" activities, but given the large number of opportunities, the smarter way to define minimal effort is by the time dedicated to it. I'm now convinced that camping only is no longer a good strategy given how limited the camping possibilities are now.
So the best way is to define minimal effort as follows: being in SL passively in parallel to other internet activity, and actively not more than one hour per day, as an average. This is to protect my social life. Another important point is that I won't invest any real money in Second Life.
This new strategy leaves me a high freedom of ways, so here is now how I expect to earn money now, apart from camping.
Camping
Most of my income will probably be from camping. Even if I stop overnight or overday camping, except if I find a dead good spot, I maintain the 30 L$ daily objective.
Banking
I will put 10'000 L$ by Midas Bank. This should produce 20 L$ daily in interest. To avoid having too much at risk and go through the same issue than with Ginko, I will withdraw the interests weekly.
Group
The "Free Money from JohnLight" group is still active, and I will continue to animate it, and share my best money making tips with the members. I raised the joining fee to 15 L$, and I will maintain it at this level for now. It will no longer depend of my balance. I chose a fee of 15L$ so as not to be unfair with the current members who paid from 1L$ to 15L$.
And yes, I still plan to give the 1'000'000 L$ to one of the group members at the end, but not via a lottery as this is illegal in Second Life now.
Gaming, lucky chairs and other
To make life a bit more risky, I will re-start gaming where possible, and spend some time looking for lucky chairs. I don't know if the number guessing systems are still active, but if yes, I will certainly use them again.
Creating and selling objects
During my in-world travels, I gathered tons of objects I don't use, including the polynesian tattoo, and the famous black dress JaneLight got from Platinum. As I don't use them, I will put all of them on sale.
You will then be able to support my quest by buying some objects I colleted. And I could even create some of my own goodies, and sell them... more on this later...

False promises
Yesterday night I left JaneLight and JohnLight on supposedly unlimited 3L$ / 15 minutes dancepads at Camazotz.
When I checked them today, I found out that JaneLight client had crashed, after earning 48 L$, not so bad, and JohnLight was still dancing, and its accumulated total was 150 L$ !!
When wanted to stand-up, it made it quickly, the client was apparently not overloaded or something... but I never got the money ! Bloody place ! Promises, and no money ! Shame on them...
They are now both camping at Banquo while I'm doing some video editing work. As I'm here, it's ok to restart camping every hour.

Apfelland and crashes - 9222.15 by Ginko
This morning, I posted again JaneLight and JohnLight in Apfelland, but had poor results. JaneLight crashed nearly immediately, and JohnLight has been ejected from his bench after 12 L$ only.
Hopefully I had better camping this evening, so I could deposit 115 L$ by Ginko, reaching 9222.15. Depending on the week-end, I could reach the 10'000 L$ step sunday ! Sounds coooool... and good for my mood.
This week-end Josephina will inaugurate her club, more info in her "Club Josephina" group... This will certainly be a new cool place.
For the time, JaneLight and JohnLight are both camping on a 2L$ per 10 minutes bench in a very quiet place. I don't know yet if it is time limited or not. At least there are no animations, no trees, no avatars passing by, so I hope the client will not experience any difficulty.

I'm not out of the game yet !
Hard day today... long long day at work, and I was back home really late. Moreover I could not have the avatars camping for the day for technical reasons.
Nevertheless I just put JohnLight on a 3L$ / 1o minutes dancepad in Banquo. It is limited to 18 L$, but this is more than nothing, and as the group had a new member, this would normally take my total to 26L$... slightly below the daily 30 objective, but hopefully I can find something better within the next 15 minutes... before going to bed, getting ready for a new long long day tomorrow... but with full day camping possibility.

A new bloody way to earn money in Second Life
In some places, you can now find kind of phone booth where you sit, and then you offer teleportation to your friends. This device pays you 3 L$ for each friend you teleport...
This could sound good at first, but it is a bloody thing... as I've got tons of friends now, I receive bursts of invitation, sometimes in series... and if my mistake I click "accept" while on a good campsite, I loose my spot !
So I do not encourage usage of such devices... except may be between someone's main avatar and an alt.
Be warned, reader, if you're on my friends list and you start spamming me with such invitations, I will certainly remove you, and may be even report abuse... So the rules are clear now.
